We can now order students there
own protective pads if they wish to partisipate in regular
contact sessions during training. There are two kits, Basic
Training and Fighters Kit.

guide.

Gate
Notice for Parents |
You may have noticed that
the youth club have introduced an electric entrance gate.
With this in place it is important that you arrive in
time for the start of the class ans parents arrive on
time to collect students. we will have to man the gates
to allow people in and out as the buzzer goes through
to the kitchen and we will not hear it once the class
has started.
Please adhere to the times to avoid disappointment in
not attending the class.

| The
Magnificent Six |
 |
On Sunday 30th October Fusion
took a team of fighters to the Dorset Championship.
Fighters: George Morcombe - Baboucar Carayol - Diego Sotello
- Yilmaz Bekir - Matthew Carter - Alexandra Thomas. The
team had a very successful day with all fighters bringing
home a medal.
Gold Medals - George - Diego - Baboucar - Alexandra.
Silver Medals - Yilmaz - Matthew x2 Cadet & Junior.
With such a great display from all fighters, the day was
topped off with a 2nd place team trophy. Coaches Michael
and Romaine where very proud of the way the team fought
on the day

Travel To Sweden |
On 11th
- 12th Fusion fighters, Yilmaz Bekir, Isaiah McKenzie, Matthew
Carter, Alexandra Thomas, Josh Webley and Joel Jackson,
travel to Sweden for the Trellebourg Open. Yilmaz and Isaiah
are competing in their first international A-Class comp.

Result |
Josh Webley travelled to the
French Open in good form and confident mood. This showed
in his first fight with a confident win. His second round
opponent was a European medallist. Unfortunately Josh lost
his second round match but gained more experience that he
can take into 2012. Well done Josh on a tremendous finish
to 2011.

Does Team GB and Fusion Proud |

| This weekend ( 3rd - 4th Dec
) Josh Webley took part in the Olympic Test event at London’s
Excel Centre. He was chosen to represent Team GB at -68kg.
Josh fought Alon Elboher from Israel in the first round
winning 10-3. In the quarterfinals his opponent was the
greatly experienced Levent Tuncat from Germany. This was
to be a big test for Josh and his nerves. As soon as the
1st round started there were no signs of nerves as Josh
took control and led the first and second rounds. In round
three, Levent had to draw on all his experience to overcome
a 3-1 deficit with two back kicks in the final minute of
the fight to overcome Josh's confident and at times dominant
display. Josh commented " It was amazing coming out
under the spotlight with the crowd cheering to the announcement
of my name, I can only imagine what it will be like at the
Olympics". This has now given Josh a small taste, and
judging by his smiles on Saturday. He wants some more. Well
done Josh. |

New Training Time for Wednesday:
Parents please note that
the training time on Wednesday is now 7:00 - 8:00. Black
Belts and elite fighters will continue to 9:00.
Team Fighters will be invited to stay till
9:00 if required for competition training.

please note that you are required to obtain your own protective
pads. There will be a very limited supply of pads for
first time fighters but if you wish to continue, you must
obtain your own for safety and hygiene reasons. Please
see Michael for information on kit prices.
Drop Off And Pick Up :
Could all
parents please make sure students arrive on time to avoid
disruption of the session when late. Also could you make
sure you return five minutes before the end of class to
avoid your child waiting and the second session being
delayed.
