Fusion Fighter Matthew Carter was victorious in the
Southern Counties Championship on Sunday 5th September.
He came through a hard fought final against a strong
opponent.

On Sunday Fusion took a team
of five fighters.Olumide Faturoti, Matthew Carter, Nazim
Bekir, Jeyda Bekir and Yilmaz Bekir. All fighters fought
exceptionaly well and they all reached the finals for their
weight groups. In the end they came away with 2 Golds and
three Silvers. A great performance and well done.

Bekir who has had her best competition to date. She Not
only made the final, she won her first major competition
Gold after coming close many times. FANTASTIC |

Experience With A Difference |
|
As part of his education George Lee has just finished his
work experience. Being one of the lucky athletes to receive
funding from Sports Aid, George chose to give something
back and worked in their offices in London. He was asked
if he could go to local schools and present a seminar on
his chosen sport of Taekwondo.
He has also become a Royal Parks Ambassador to encourage
young people to enjoy exercise
